Winter

Winter brings us deep, bold, cool colors. Winter gets the jewel tones, berry reds, dark lipsticks - but also the 'icys' to demonstrate how Winter people can wear lighter value colors.

Dark Winter

Berries, deep sea, black velvet.

Dark (or deep) Winter is darkest of the Winters, meaning it's dark and rich, and cool, but borrowing some of Autumn's warmth. It's medium to high chroma, meaning it's very pigmented.

True Winter

Primary colors, jewel tones, Lego.

True Winter is medium to high chroma, meaning it's fairly highly saturated. It's purely cool in temperature with cool blues, greens, yellows, purples and other hues, including the 'icys'. Winter is lower value, which means generally contains more darker hues.

Bright Winter

Neon, electric, energy.

Bright Winter is the highest chroma of the Winters, meaning it's the brightest and most saturated. It's predominantly cool in temperature but borrows some of Springs warmth and tropical energy. Winter is lower value, which means generally contains more darker hues.
