Light Spring
Words easily associated with Light Spring coloring are delicate, natural, light, fresh, luminous and warm. Light Spring is a lot more than pastel. Read on to find out more.

Light Spring People
Light Spring people mostly need 'lightness' in their palette, meaning they are overwhelmed by anything too dark and heavy or too bright. Light Spring is in the Spring parent Season, meaning it's predominantly warm but borrows a little Summer coolness and mistiness. Light Spring drapes on a Light Spring person, do not appear 'pastel', they just look 'right'.

The Vibe
Light Spring is part of the Spring color family. Springs bring energy and vibrancy, but Light Spring is (surprise!) the lightest of the Spring Seasons - meaning, it's palette contains a lot of white within each hue, as opposed to grey (the Soft Seasons) or black (the Dark Seasons). If you're not sure of your Season, visit Color Curator in North Carolina.

The Drapes
I drape clients in a red, blue, green and yellow from each Season, and the True Seasons also have a neutral. I also have luxury drapes to show the beauty of the Season and some metallics too. Learn more about the draping process.

The Palette
These beautiful color palettes, carefully curated by NDU colors, aren't comprehensive - there are thousands of colors that the human eye can see, but they are meant to show the range of dark to light and chroma that the Season can wear, as well as the correct temperature and chroma. We shouldn't be color 'matching' to squares when shopping, but trying to get the right overall color vibe and properties.

Celebrities
Suspected Light Spring celebrities include Amanda Seyfried, Scarlett Johansson, Kate Hudson and Elle Fanning.

Jewelry & Accessories
Light or clear gold and peachy rose golds look amazing on Light Springs. Some shine and sparkle captures that Spring energy. Coral, light opals, aquamarine all look great - just make sure there's a buoyancy and warmth to stones and gems.

Makeup
I love The Concept Wardrobe's recommendations for makeup for each Sesason. Think warm pinks, apricot, peach, coral, pearl, creamy, light ivory and champagne colors.

I am a huge fan of Christina Scaman of 12 blueprints, who has a great deep dive video on how to wear Spring colors.
