Bright Winter
Bright Winter is a coveted Season. You get the most saturated, brightest colors and can range in value from the icy's to the darker colors. Bright cool corals, cherry reds, citron yellows, loud purples and fantastic blues.

Bright Winter People
Bright Winter people are diverse - you do not have to have dark hair to be a Dark Winter but your natural coloring will tolerate high contrast. Bright Winters are in the Winter parent season, but have a 'Springiness' to them, typically through a bright, clear and buoyant eye. Bright drapes on a Bright Winter person, do not appear 'bright', they just look 'right'.

The Vibe
A Bright Winter can go head to toe bright or have bright 'pops' of color, like a lipstick, earring or accessory. Either way, the colors won't overwhelm them because their natural coloring stands up to the high chroma. If you're not sure of your Season, visit Color Curator in North Carolina.

The Drapes
I drape clients in a red, blue, green and yellow from each Season, and the True Seasons also have a neutral. I also have luxury drapes to show the beauty of the Season and some metallics too. Learn more about the draping process.

The Palette
These beautiful color palettes, carefully curated by NDU colors, aren't comprehensive - there are thousands of colors that the human eye can see, but they are meant to show the range of dark to light and chroma that the Season can wear. We shouldn't be color 'matching' to squares when shopping, but trying to get the right overall color vibe and properties.

Celebrities
Suspected Bright Winter celebrities include Megan Fox, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Courteney Cox and Krysten Ritter amongst others.

Jewelry & Accessories
Bright Winters are at their best in high-shine silver and platinum. They pull off a crisp, more modern look easily. Bright Winters can wear a medium gold but should avoid brass or dulled/hammered metals.Accessories can be the perfect pop of color for a Bright Winter person.

Makeup
Bright Winters get to wear the most saturated lipsticks! Bright, crisp and Old Hollywood. I like The Concept Wardrobe's recommendations for makeup for each Seasson.

Deep Dive
I am a huge fan of Christina Scaman of 12 blueprints, who has a great deep dive video into how to differentiate Bright Winter from True Winter.
